Rubbish Tuesday
I happened across this meme by Roan at Rubbish by Roan, I love photos, I love old and interesting things, I love combining them all.
As Roan says:
'The idea is to post a photograph of anything old and/or deteriorating i.e. house, barn, outbuilding, something rusty, antiques, interesting junk, or something in pristine condition, but just plain old.'
I took this photo last week at the Bakelite Museum in Williton, Somerset which is jam packed full of old and interesting things. I have played a little with the photo as you can see and love the way the light catches it.

How interesting! I also love old things: the history, and often the bitter-sweetness of it having been abandoned or forgotten
I haven't see one of these in ages. There used to be one in my grandpa's barn, but I don't know what happened to it. Nice composition on teh shot, too. Thanks for joining in!
An oldie for sure and the sepia tones add warmth.

It's a fascinating place Ann, full of things that would otherwise just have rotted away all lovingly preserved.
Thank you Roan, glad you like the photo and the blog name :-).
It did work ok in colour Marilyn but I agree, sepia gave it something a little extra.
I'm guessing so Deb.
Ha ha, I'm eating cake and over it cake - cake is SO restorative don't you find :-).
Thank you Beth.
You can Joe - maybe you, K and I could start a whole new meme and call it 'old fart fotos'?
