Listography - Products you couldn't do without

The difficulty is narrowing it down to 5!!!

I've just been reading a few at Kate Takes 5 and it's a resounding YES to almost everything mentioned.

So, my top 5 could not live withouts:

1) Cat litter, not very prosaic but with 5 cats at the moment I dread running out even more than I dread having to deal with the litter tray before my morning cuppa.

2) Fake tan. I do eventually change from blinding white to the shade of very milky tea but before then I need a little help. At last count I had 6 bottles of the stuff (I'm a sucker for marketing).

3) Full fat milk. I know, I should change to semi skimmed but it doesn't taste the same in coffee. Id rather have less and have the real thing.

4) Make up. I will go without it if I really have to but there's nothing I like better than slapping on the slap. I feel 100% better with a little eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss.

5) My duck feather pillows. I spent years with foam filled pillows that went lumpy and bumpy after a couple of months. I tried memory foam which was like trying to sleep on a brick and then, last year, I bought myself some duck feather pillows, they are BLISS especially with stripy flannel pillowcases.

1. Cat litter. A resounding yes here as well. Life would be unbearable without it. I'm resigned to my eternal vampire-esque whiteness so no fake tan though. Have you found one that doesn't reek? I always find that it ruins my bedsheets and smells awful.

Agree with you on the make up. It literally saves me some days.

Would cat litter work for the MInis? I'm just wondering...

Cat litter! Excellent choice! Ditto in The American Resident household. And makeup. I don't wear much but the eyeliner and mascara I do use does make a big difference. And of course full fat milk is better in coffee--I even prefer cream. I know. My hips and thighs are swelling even as I type this... Fun list!

Im a new follower, enjoying your blog!

Make up for me as well, it makes me look more human each day and less like a haggered old bag! Foundation is my must, and I do like a little mascara if I have time.

5 cats? Blimey. Duck feather pillows are suddenly my next 'must have' item....thanks for that.

Blogger is NOT my friend today :( individual replies to each comment and when I went to publish ...... poof!!! Blogger encountered an error and had to close.

Thank you all though, I think I might just write a post instead if Blogger will let and my nerves can stand it!

oooh cat litter. Crunchy under bare feet in the morning. Not a good thought.

I'm with you on the pillows. Have not looked back since begrudgingly getting out my credit card to buy my first posh one.

I have considered slipping my wellies on when I reach the bottom of the stairs in the morning!

Good pillows I've decided are an investment and worth the initial pain inflicted on the bank statement. It took me a long time to pluck up the courage but I've never looked back.

Interesting that you should say that about the stripy pillow cases. I honestly think I sleep better on stripy sheets. I have a collection of different coloured stripy ones, but green is my favourite. I even have matching pillowcases. My advice to those who can't afford the duck feather, try the stripes.Makes a hard mattress soft.
We have allergies in this house but John Lewis do a pseudo feather pillow which is brilliant and has kept its fluffiness. 4 years and counting.

PS. Thank you lovely Sarah for your continued encouraging words.

I've put make-up too; won't set foot outside the door without at least foundation on.
